Elsinor is a theatre production centre supported by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism. It is based in Milan and presents two other theatre centres, one in Florence (Teatro Cantiere Florida) and the other one in Forlì (Teatro Giovanni Testori). Production of prose theater and theater for children, hospitality, training, artistic residencies and international projects are the main characteristics of an articulated activity that aims to seize the renewal requests present in the panorama of live entertainment by offering a contribution of quality and originality. Elsinor is currently partner of two larger scale cooperation projects announced by the European Commission under their European Culture Funding Stream Creative Europe: CONNECTUP, The Lives of the Others - European Theatres for Young Audience in a Union of Diversity and PLAYON! New Storytelling with Immersive Technologies.
