When the little girl dressed in red went into the woods to visit her grandmother, the woods asked her to stop and listen. It was a beautiful, lonely and blind forest, a completly dark forest, with a million eyes. The girl stopped, closed her eyes and listened. The two of them stayed in silence and the wolf grew in the middle of them. He was a beautiful wolf. A quick, attentive, brave wolf. Like the little girl. Just a little bit bigger. It was a wolf made to run. And they ran. She was a little girl made to play. And they played. It was the gift of the forest to the girl. It was the child's pledge to the forest. The two swore their loyalty each other, but...knock knock... "Once upon a time there was a little girl" is a love story. It is the story of a confident and suspended act,  the act of giving oneself to the other. It is the moment of silent listening that has no expectations. It's the game of refounding language. It is an initiation. It is the scene of an ancient crime. A red thread stretched between obedience and discovery, between culture and nature, between the grandmother's house and the wolf".
