Cinderella is a heroine with a thousand faces and the architect of her own destiny. In our culture she more and more becomes the redemption symbol of the oppressed, but more than a story about the search for charming prince, Zaches' Cinderella is an initiatory fairy tale in which the difficult path to maturity passes through detachment from the past, referring to ancient oral version and the written versions of Grimm and Basile. The manipulation becomes dance and the dance evokes the ancient presence of the initiation rite under the ashes of the fairy tale.
