Theatre for young audiences is a space for research, experimentation, and attentive listening; yet, within academic training pathways, it often remains on the margins. Since the 2023–2024 academic year, the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi has introduced a module dedicated to playwriting for young audiences, led by Renata Coluccini and Giuditta Mingucci.

The event At the crossroads of unknown roadswas conceived as an opportunity to share selected seeds of creation developed within this programme, bringing new voices and perspectives to light. At the same time, it represents one step within a broader commitment: to build a bridge between theatre academies and the world of younger generations, in order to address a gap in training and give visibility to emerging playwrights, offering vital energy to the field.
