THE FESTIVAL

The Festival Segnali, directed and organized by Elsinor and Teatro del Buratto, is a historical and fundamental event for Italian theater for young audiences. It is the chance to meet all the different kinds of productions and distributions coming from the whole country, and to compare and find out about all the different types of poetic and artistic paths. Segnali is a privileged place to come together with international openings, as well as an occasion of promotion and visibility for professional companies. A crossroads of paths that over the years has allowed a direct knowledge of the shows on, encouraging more aware and effective programming, and a significant help for distribution throughout the country. Segnali is an opportunity to get a glimpse of the best Italian (but not only) children's theatre productions coming up, as well as a cultural and informal opportunity of exchange between families and school children.

 

NEXT – LABORATORY OF IDEAS is an initiative promoted by the Department of Culture of Regione Lombardia in collaboration with Fondazione Cariplo, whose main objective is to support the production and programming of performing arts in Lombardy. Regione Lombardia pays particular attention to companies working in the field of theatre for children and young people and supports the production of performances by Lombard companies. The trailers of the shows, selected through a public call, will be presented during the 36th edition of SEGNALI, a festival of theatre for young audiences.
