Laura is at a job interview to animate birthday parties and must prove she can handle everything perfectly: the balloons, the photos, the gifts, the guests. The handyman from the “Te lo do io il compleanno” agency is supposed to help her untangle various rehearsals. Still, he continually binds her by triggering an amusing game of clowning, gags, and surprises. The show, through the filter of a sometimes bittersweet smile, reflects on something bigger: the excess of our society in which appearance counts more than being, and the party matters more than the...birthday boy.
