Mia is 14 years old and lives in a forest unlike any other: it’s the Forest of NO, thick with trees whose jagged canopies block her view of what lies beyond its borders. The young girl would love to go out and see the world, but whenever she asks, Bella — a sort of guardian fairy — always says no, that she can’t, that she isn’t ready. Her encounter with the boy from the sea, a brave stranger who managed to penetrate the forest, will change Mia’s life forever, bringing into it that small “yes” that will lead her out to see the sky again.
