Peter and the Wolf, Sergei Prokofiev’s celebrated work, continues to prompt reflection on the relationship between words, music and drawings. Teatro Gioco Vita’s approach to this work is to add to the music and story-telling devices a language all of its own: shadow theatre and the use of new technology. Music, words and drawings blend together giving it a whole new poetic and profoundly sensorial dimension, offering the listener a complete experience capable of stimulating the imagination, attention and collective participation.
